Project two

 

Project two prompted students to develop a calling intention for their life, and to then create a visualization to illustrate ones own calling. The calling intention is a question that was developed during and after a meditative workshop, and is itended to help guide students finding their own personal way as a designer. My calling intention is: How can I design integral experiences with future generations to connect with the beauty and wonder of our own creativity? For my visualization of this calling, I decided to use a sunrise as a metaphor for the dawning of a new era, the coming of new generations of people. The pattern is intended to play off the idea of the sunrise, and develop into a visual metaphor for the creation of new experiences for the coming generations.
